The 2027 Utah AFS meeting is schedule for February 22nd - 24th in Vernal, Utah (Monday - Wednesday)

The theme this year is "The Power of Place." 

Welcome to the Colorado Plateau, eastern Utah, the Uintah Basin, the Uintah and Ouray Reservation, the Ashley Valley, or what is most commonly called Vernal, UT now. Vernal is near and dear to my heart and we are thrilled to be hosting our 2027 annual meeting there. This year we are acknowledging and celebrating the unique aquatic resources found in this very special place while also learning more about the unique resources found all around our state. So please mark your calendars for Feb 22-24, 2027 and plan to join us for what should be a very memorable meeting!

2027 Meeting Program

We will meet at the Uintah Conference Center for continuining education Monday afternoon and for our meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our conference hotel will be the Springhill Suites and information on the hotel block will be sent out in November.  We are still working on the program but expect to be welcomed with a social on Monday evening, followed by a full day Tuesday with plenary, poster session, contributed talks, and the evening banquet/fundraiser. Wednesday will feature a few more contributed talks and then some fun activities in the afternoon before heading out.
